what's with the title...?
a wordplay on the song title "It's The Hard Knock Life" from the musical 'Annie.' why? because, though at times life seems like it's just full of 'hard knocks,' it is truly full of wonderful displays of God's love for us...if we will but look. He enjoys reminding us of His amazing love in even the smallest ways!... like in the shape of a rock... a heart rock... whispering "My love for you is rock-solid!" so, this is what i want my time on earth to be about --pursuing A Heart Rock Life--seeing and delighting in the creativity, wonder, and love of the Lord no matter what life brings my way!
